STYGIAN, Chicago's deadly new breed of traditional Power Thrasher, explodes on their debut full-length recording "PLANETARY DESTRUCTION". The cd was recorded at Silver Cloud Studios in Burbank California. Produced by Gordon Shumway and Stygian, the cd will take the listener to a new dimension in thought and reality. Four songs are about the environment. Other meaningful topics include: "NEEDFUL THINGS" about the homeless, "THE SWITCH" about capitol punishment, "BEHIND DEATH'S DOOR" is about mass murderer Jeffrey Dahmer, "FALL FROM GRACE" is about the lack of economical respect currently given the U.S., "CREMATION" is about the over cost of burials, and "PREACHER AND THE POLITICIAN", is about the misuse of powerful positions by religious and political leaders. In other words, NO LOVE SONGS!!
