This list will be updated from time to time when we hear some new exciting music that we can recommend. Remember not all great music is on LEVIATHAN RECORDS!! ;-)

MOZART

MOZART is my fave composer. Personally I can't take operas by anyone so any thing other than that I highly recommend.

ULI JON ROTH

If you want to hear where Schenker, Yngwie, Harris and many others copped their early licks check out Uli. One of the greatest unknown guitarists in heavy metal history!!

ROBIN TROWER

Robin Trower is a second generation metal version of Hendrix. That is not a bad thing. His first 3 or 4 cds are highly recommended. Passion and fire!

JIMI HENDRIX

Jimi is the most important heavy guitarist in history for numerous reasons. Buy any cd that was made, mixed and released during Hendrix's lifetime. All the stuff released after his death mostly leaves much to be desired. I am sure Jimi would never have released them.

DAVID SHEW

Nothing beats this impressive artist and his Cd "The Gathering" for relaxation and peacefulness. Highly recommended for a change of pace.

UK

UK is a classic prog rock/metal act featuring Allan Holdsworth. "In the Dead of Night" is one of my fave cds of all time. You can't be without it. Newcomers EVENT and their debut cd "Electric Skies" also has this classic sound but with a 90s twist.

MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA

John McLaughlin and band blew me away when I was first getting serious about music and their debut cd "Inner Mounting Flame" is amazing on so many levels.

DREAM THEATER

Dream Theater are the saviors of progressive metal in the US. The cds with Kevin Moore are the most recommended here. However great musicianship from top to bottom.

ALLAN HOLDSWORTH

Holdsworth is a living god amongst some guitarist. He is my personal fave. I recommend the cds that he is a sideman on such as UK, Bruford, Gong, Ponty and others. In those settings his job is just to rip and he does it better than anyone alive!!!!
